Dennis Lee Boykin of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born on November 1, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Music was his life. His exceptional musical talent was amplified by his fun, outgoing and kind-hearted personality. Dennis loved sharing the stage at his Once Again Music Store with fellow musicians, from newcomers to experienced professionals. He also taught guitar, drums, and other instruments to hundreds of students over the years. The Saturday Night Jams he hosted at Once Again created a wonderful community of musicians, friends, and extended family to Dennis. He will be greatly missed by all. Dennis is survived by daughter Brittany Boykin of Quinlan, Texas, and brother Tony Boykin of Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter Courtney Boykin, mother Helen Boykin, and father Cecil Boykin. Family and friends are encouraged to share fond memories and express sympathy to his family.
