

Donna Claire Meadows, aged 80, of Mesquite, TX, passed away on January 13, 2025, in Sunnyvale, TX. Born on November 23, 1944, in Pauls Valley, OK, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family and her community.
Donna graduated from Moore High School in May 1963 and married Arthur Meadows on December 21, 1963. She was deeply involved in her local community through her attendance at Northeast Baptist Church in Norman, OK, and Wildwood Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX. Her faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her actions and interactions with those around her.
Creativity was a constant theme in Donna’s life. She found joy in visiting friends, working on ceramics, and creating floral arrangements, often alongside her husband, Arthur Meadows, who preceded her in death. She was also considered the “Legion Mom” for the American Legion Post 504. These activities not only brought her personal joy but also allowed her to connect with others in her community.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Angela Wilhite (Ronalds Wilhite) of Mesquite, TX and Melissa Meadows (Jeff Thompson) of Hawkinsville, GA; grandsons, Scott Wilhite of Bossier City, LA, Christopher Meadows of Crystal, MN, and Shawn Thompson of Howard Lake, MN; and four great-grandchildren of Howard Lake MN.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Walter Wyatt Jr.; mother, Lois Shatley Wyatt; and brother, Stanley Wyatt Sr.
Her life was a testament to the power of nurturing relationships and community ties, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
