December 14, 1970July 16, 2020

George Kevin Hoxie, was born December 14, 1970 and stepped through the gates of Heaven on July 16, 2020. He was a wonderful person who loved the Lord. He was a hard worker with a magnetic personality, a generous and giving spirit. Kevin always had the right thing to say to make you feel better

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Viola Hoxie and his Mother Sylvia Lankford. He is survived by his wife: Larissa Hoxie; his children: Daniela and Jose Acosta and Seth, Wesley and Ashton Spence; Grandson: Landon Spence; sister: Astacia Hoxie; Brother: Roger Hance; stepfather: Tony Lankford; nephews: Jeyden Hance, Lee McGibboney and Ezra Rapport; Aunts: Margaret Brotze and Barbara Whitehead, and friends too numerous to count.

Thoughts from Larissa: He loved God, He loved me, He loved his children He loved his church family, He loved people He was passionate to serve God and to serve others He will always look up and help others He had a big heart

He was a humble man, a great husband, and a good daddy He was the greatest man that this planet earth had. He was kind, loving and generous He was friendly to anyone. He was honest and genius. He was the smartest person I had ever met He had a wonderful personality and a beautiful smile He had the beautiful deep voice I ever heard , and the most beautiful green eyes .

And from his daughter:

Dear Dad,

I miss you more then you will ever know. I still can’t believe you aren’t with us. Our lives will forever be changed with you gone. You are in a better place now. You are dancing and singing with Jesus. You are no longer suffering. I know you were so proud of me to be going to college and I will work hard knowing you are watching over me. I love you so much.

Love, Daniela

I attended church and was in a men’s group with Kevin. Even though our Father in heaven called him home, the ones who know him will miss him tremendously. Praying for your loved ones to find peace during this very difficult time.

Kevin was always one of the most genuine, kind-hearted, big teddy bear kind of a guy you could ever meet! He spoke love, forgiveness and acceptance to anyone he met. We will see you in the next rodeo buddy! I am better for knowing you! You are missed!! Larissa and family: to you I would say be proud of the man Kevin was. Sure, we have all struggled but he managed to do even the hard times with grace. I’m so sorry for your loss! My prayers are with you.

Kevin I still cannot believe that you are no longer with us, it has been difficult news to accept, our hearts are sad and we only wish that you are already enjoying the presence of our Lord Jesus, in the short time we share together I have very beautiful memories and special time, I can say that I had the honor of meeting a person with a big heart. Our family will remember you with much love and affection and especially my son Santiago, I will always tell him that he has an Angel in heaven who takes care of his life and that He loves him very much. To my sister and nephews I wish that God would give that moment and that calm and strength that only he gives, better times will come when the pain passes and we can celebrate the life of Kevin as he always did. Our love and prayers are with you.
