Janet Aguirre

Janet Gayle Aguirre, a warm and loving soul, was born June 27, 1950, in Abilene, Texas and passed peacefully on April 21, 2026, in Dallas, Tx. She carried a quiet strength and a generous heart that touched family and friends across generations.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Frances Williams, who raised her with kindness and laughter, her husband David, and her grandson Xavier Aguirre. Those who knew her will remember her gentle humor, her steady presence, and the way she made ordinary moments feel like home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Gary Williams; Randy Williams; Leslie Williams; Elizabeth Van Patten of Paris. Her children and grandchildren, Amy Gaither and husband Allen and daughter Lillie and partner Alec Omel with his daughter Grace; Matthew Aguirre and wife Aphrodite and children Isaac and Zoe; and one great grandson Elijah as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at The Refuge Church, Lewisville, TX 75067 on May 2nd at 2:00 PM, with Brian Phillips officiating.

Janet’s warmth and love remain with everyone she touched. All who loved her are invited to celebrate her life and the quiet, enduring joy she gave to so many.
