He attended school in Carrollton, TX and graduated in 2005 from Creekview High School. He also attended Brookhaven College.
Jarrell had an infectious smile and the ability to make everyone he met feel special. He loved his family, friends, and his dogs. He was introduced to sports at an early age and enjoyed them all; however, he was most passionate about basketball. Jarrell's favorite player was Kobe Bryant. Kobe lived by this mantra, "Rest at the end, not in the middle." This mantra exemplified Jarrell's warrior spirit as he fought hard and against all odds but did not stop until God said it was the end...Rest My Son.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Mr. Johnny Stancell; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clara Bush; maternal grandparents, Mr. Harold Jones and Mrs. Ernestine Jones; and a brother, Shawn Stancell.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his grandfather, Mr. Johnnie Bush, Jr; parents, Mr. Darrell Stancell and Jean Stancell; brothers, Andwon Dean; Darrell Stancell Jr., and Kason Stancell; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
