JOE “J.T.” THOMAS DEAVER February 22, 1941 – November 8, 2014 Joe Thomas Deaver, 73, died November 8, 2014. “J.T.” Deaver was born February 22, 1941 in Calallen, TX to Eugene D. and Lillie (Finto) Deaver, both predeceasing him. He passed away at a nursing care facility in Carrollton, TX after fighting a number of ailments in recent years. He is survived by two sons, Joseph “Joe” and Duane (and Kim) Deaver, and two daughters, Rhonda (Randy) Nowlin and Deneen (Mark) Truett. Also surviving J.T. are two sisters, Edith (Gary) Tinsley, Betty (Don) Grant, and a brother, David (Pam) Deaver. Additionally, he has three surviving grandchildren: Amanda Allred, Lydia Deaver, and Stephen Shaffer, plus several nieces and nephews. J.T. lived in Bishop, TX most of his life since the mid 1940s, attending Bishop Schools and graduating there in 1959. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the early 1960s and later primarily worked in car sales and industrial construction. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be Friday 5-7pm and funeral Saturday 11am at Metrocrest Funeral Home in Carrollton. Interment to be performed at D/FW National Cemetery.
