It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Jose Manuel Montes-Reyes on November 4, 2016. He was born on August 11, 1926 in Mexico to Jose and Higinia. Jose was associated with the Brookhaven Country Club as well as the Pan Am Golf Association. He had a great interest in music and played guitar. Jose also accomplished woodwright and specialized in hand carving. He was a great man gone too soon. He will be greatly missed. Jose is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Elena Villarreal Montes. He is survived by his sons Jose Manuel Montes Jr., Leonardo Xavier Montes, Richard Rene Montes, Robert Rolando Montes and Mario Anthony Montes; daughters, Maria Montez Juarez and Nora Diana Montes; 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. A Visitation will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home – Carrollton, TX on Sunday November 6, 2016 from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 8, 2016 at 10:00 am at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church – Farmers Branch, TX. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park – Dallas, TX.
