Julia "LaShelle" Jennings

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Julia "LaShelle" Jennings, a beloved wife, daughter, niece, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

LaShelle was born on February 19, 1973, in Denver City to Russell and Linda Shaffer. She was raised with strong values of faith, love, and family, which she carried throughout her life and shared freely with those around her.

LaShelle lived her life with quiet strength and grace while navigating the challenges of Turners Syndrome. Despite these challenges, she remained warm, loving, and deeply devoted to her family, never allowing her condition to define the fullness of her life or the love she gave to others.

On November 24, 2001, LaShelle married the love of her life, Steven Jennings, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and companionship. While they did not have children of their own, their home was filled with joy through their beloved fur babies.

She shared a close and loving bond with her family, including her younger sister, Stephanie, and brother-in-law, Guy Bilton. Along with Stevens Parents Richard and Jan Jennings. Sister-in-law Jennifer Jennings and husband Ji Young Kim. A niece Na-Hee Kim and Nephew Min-Soo Kim. And Steven’s brother Peter Jennings. LaShelle was cherished by her family and everyone around her that held a special place in her heart, bringing her joy, pride, and countless treasured moments.

LaShelle will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her ability to make others feel seen, valued, and loved. Her presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though her passing leaves a deep and lasting void, her love, strength, and memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration.
