Dear Karen,

I met you in 1978 in Columbus, Mississippi when you helped me fill my new home with lovely furniture.  New to the area and the Air Force, I spent many evenings at your home discussing every bit of life's adventures and trials.  
We have remained friends and confidants all these years. Your style and flair is unmatched by any one else I have ever met. I treasure the unique art work you have given me.
I tearfully say good bye but will always hold your spirit close to my heart.

I met Karen when she selected our agency, Farmers in Dallas, as her insurance provider.  Karen and I hit it off instantly, me being from California too, we had a lot to chat about.  Any time she had insurance dealings, she only wanted to speak with me at our agency, which was completely fine, because I loved the talks we had.  I am saddened by the news but understand the peace she is at now.  I had not been able to reach her recently, and now know why. 

 My condolences for the family.  I will keep you all in my prayers. 

Gayle Parent, Candy McPherren and I all enjoyed working with Karen here at the Muse on Slocum. Mostly I enjoyed her talking about her Kitty, whom she adored and even in the first throws of COVID  she worried about getting food for the Kitty before herself.
We will miss her terribly, her smile, her glasses and of course her love of color!

Dear Karen , you were such a talented and amazing woman. loyal to a fault and sassy to no end. A blessing and delight to all. I will always think of your influences on my life. We even shared the same middle name.Rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to Karen’s family. 
I got to know her through my son Addison as, they lived in the same condo complex & took an immediate liking to her. 
Karen painted a beautiful, amusing portrait of Addisons dog Wally.  She took such care to make it look exactly like him! And he proudly displays it in his home. Addison & Karen developed a true friendship of mutual respect & trust.  
When I visited him, I was always hopeful to see her! I loved how she dressed & what a classy gal she was. I am deeply saddened about how quickly & unexpectedly her passing was.  She was certainly in our prayers. 
May God grant you peace during the terribly difficult loss of your dear beautiful Mother.
