Ken had a long career in law enforcement, beginning in the military police where he served honorably in Vietnam. He later joined the New York State Park Police, then became a Federal Law Enforcement Agent working with the DEA and US Marshall's Service. Throughout his career, he found time to obtain three Master's degrees, and after retiring from federal service, he worked as a college professor.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Wilkins, his son Michael Cowle and grandson Tyler, His son James Cowle and his wife Dawn and their children Cecelia and James, and his daughter Kate Cowle and grandchildren Brandon, Van and Nash.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday July 30th at Metrocrest Funeral Home in Carrollton, Tx.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 31st at the National Cemetery in Dallas, Tx.
