How can the Sanfilippo family ever forget Kim.?  She was part of our family, having grown up on the same street and sharing many days and moments together.   My girls and the Brown girls were always together.  What a young and vibrant person, just so full of life and loving all things around her.  

Our heart went out to her hearing all the health problems she had.  She suffered much but had a living angel with her, her husband Cel who was always there for her.  Now, she is at peace.

All the Sanfilippo's send their love and condolences.  Know she will always be in our heart.





Kim entered my life when I was only 13 and we bonded immediately.  She followed me everywhere while she was little.  On Sunday afternoons, she, the twins and I visited the local ice cream parlor for our cones and she ALWAYS asked me what flavor I would be getting.  She would respond she wanted that kind, too.  So many years...so many memories of how loving she was.  She really loved her dad and now they are reunited.  A word to Cel:  you have been such a rock of strength for Kim and for Barbara for many years and our family is so thankful and proud of you.  Love and hugs from Judy


Condolences on the passing of your wife Cel.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and Kim's family during this difficult time.

My daughter Kim was definitely one of a kind.  She was loved by her family and friends.  I'll miss her phone calls which were many every day and night.  Kim always ended the calls telling me " Mom I love you so much". She was looking forward to getting strong again so she and Cel could come visit the family in Alabama.  Cel gave her the best care and will miss his wife and best friend.  Howard, take care of our girl. 

Our condolences to you and Kim’s family from Robert and I and your nieces. Kim is no longer in pain. You did everything you could possibly do for her. We are here for you when you need us. 

I was so fortunate to meet Barbara Brown in 1985! She would come to our old shop to get her manicures! Through some conversations and laughter we became quick friends! Over the years I got to know the whole family. I was the one who shot Kim  and Cels wedding photos! I had no idea that all these years later I would still be so close the the family! Barbara Brown is the best mother, sister, daughter friend that anyone could ever have! She has always gone the extra mile for all of her kids! I am proud to call your family, my family! Kim struggled alit this last year! In and out of hospitals and rehab. Cel is a super human... he has more than fulfilled his husbandly duties! I hope you all know how much I love you all! Kim will be in all our hearts, and we will be with her again someday! But not yet! Not yet!! Hugs to all!!!

Dear Cel, Barbara, Kenny, Kevin and Kristy.  

I am so very sorry and beyond sad to hear about Kimmy.  I didn’t know she was having such a hard time. 

I knew Kimmy  from high school.  I was in choir with Kevin and Kenny and became close with the entire family.   I picture her smiling and laughing with her friends and family around her.  She was born into a fanoulous loving family that was always doing something fun.   She had free will and would fly the way she wanted.  

I remember a ski trip my family and the Browns took together  in Vermont.  We skied hard for a week and played games in the evenings together.  I remember how Kimmy would rock back and forth all the time when sitting.  

Kimmy was a cute, sweet girl and became a beautiful young lady.  I think everyone saw her ray of sunshine in every day she lived.   She was a happy and very loving  person. 

I wish I could be there and wrap my arms around all of you.

I believe it’s not how long you live, but rather how much you touch peoples lives. 

I am praying for peace for her family, friends and Kim.  Please know how much I loved her!

I was saddened to hear that your wife passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Every time I saw you at work I would ask you how she doing.  And you would provide me with an update. You are truly a definition of a man that loved his wife unconditionally.  Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs.

My heart aches today for the loss of a true and loving friend, Kim Alonzo.   She & Cel have been such devoted and close friends of mine through the years.   I love them both like family.  I have so many wonderful memories of Kim.  She was a ray of sunshine when it was a cloudy day.  I loved her and she knew it.  She was always a positive force in life and even though the last few years took it's toll on her, she remained the same vivacious & happy person she always was.  I was blessed to have known her & she has made me look at life in so many new ways.  I will miss you my sweet friend but I know I will see you again and until then I will treasure our times together forever in my heart.  To my dear friend Cel, you are in my prayers and know that God will walk with you every step of the way through this heartache.  Much love to you my friend.

Dear Cel and Brown Family,
I am truly heartbroken at the passing of Kim. I will cherish the wonderful high school memories with her and am so glad we still kept in touch. Even though she struggled for years with different health issues, she still kept her zest for life. Thank you Cel for taking care of and loving my dear friend. I will truly miss her.
