Leonor Marta Gutierrez Cubria (Marta), 89, of Carrollton, TX, passed away on September 20, 2026.
Marta was born in Caimito de Guayabal on February 22, 1937, to Timoteo Galvez Gutierrez and Maria Edelmira Brito Gutierrez. Marta was married to Jorge Ramon Cubria on December 14,1957; they were married 68 years.
Marta worked as a Homemaker for her whole life. Marta was a devoted wife and mother. She also had a special love for animals, especially the dogs she welcomed into her life, and found great joy in feeding the squirrels and birds that visited her home. Through her love and care for animals, Marta recognized and cherished the beauty of God in all His creatures
Marta is preceded in death by her parents, Timoteo and Edelmira.
Marta is survived by her husband, Jorge Ramon Cubria, and her son Jorge Luis Cubria and her daughter Irmita White, and her niece Cary Petrie, and other family and friends.
The family of Marta wishes to thank the various hospices and caregivers that helped in her Alzheimer care.
