Linda Jones Spencer

Linda was born in Waxahachie, Texas on September 29, 1948 to Frank and Goldie Jones.

She graduated from IM Terrell High School and went into the Job Corps. She went to Mountain View College. She worked at Presbyterian Hospital as a Phlebotomist and Secretary for 15 years. After retiring Linda volunteered at the Texas department of Health and Human Serivces helping families apply for Medicare and food assistance.

She enjoyed spending time with her family at home or on the phone. Linda liked playing cards and dominos as well as games on her phone, tablet and computer. She would be on the prayer line every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Linda is survived by her son Junior (Kathy); 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and many family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband Bobby; her daughter Alisa; her parents Frank and Goldie Jones; her siblings Lizzie, Louise, Edward, Maggie Jean, Juanita, Johnny, Lynn and Rickey; and 3 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Linda will be held Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 N Perry Rd, Carrollton, Texas.
