Louis Alexander Holt

Louis "Louie" Alexander Holt (瑠似アレクサンダーホルト) came into this world at 4:33 AM on 13 October 2024. Prior to his birth, his parents learned Louie would need intensive care due to several congenital anomalies that were identified in the womb at 17 weeks. From that moment, they made it their mission to provide Louie every chance at life, and spent every ounce of their energy giving him every opportunity to survive. From Shreveport to Houston to Dallas, Louie and his mother received the highest level of care available in support of Louie's life. His father read to him in the womb, and his mother sang to him. As a family, they would listen to music together. Louie was always most active when his parents were talking to him. At birth, despite his condition, Louie held on in the NICU long enough for his mom to recover and to meet his parents. It filled them with immense joy to see him respond to their voices during the 3 hours he was with them. However, despite all efforts to the contrary, Louie's condition was too severe for him to remain on earth. Six hours after birth, at 10:15 AM, he departed peacefully from this world in his mother's arms. Although his life was short, it was wrapped with a lifetime of love and soaked in affection. Mom & Dad will always love you.

Louie is the son of Corey and Sachie Holt of Bossier City, LA.

His paternal grandparents are Timothy "Pop Pop" & Angela "Nana" Holt of Lynchburg, TN & Michelle Holt (née Gibbs, deceased).

His maternal grandparents are Keiko Kojima (née Nakamura) and Kenji Kojima, both of Japan.

A private memorial service will be held at the Holt home in Bossier City, LA on November 16, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests you consider making a donation in Louie's honor to either of the charities listed below:
