Michael Sean Harvey

Michael (Mike) Sean Harvey, age 56, of Carrollton, TX, departed this world peacefully on May 12, 2024. He moved to Dallas at 19 years old with his longtime friend Craig and later met his future wife Grace, who would become his partner in life and adventure.

Mike's love for travel was a reflection of his adventurous spirit. Among his favorite destinations was Aruba, a place he visited eight times. Its pristine beaches and warm locals held a special place in his heart. He often spoke of retiring in Aruba or the lush tropics of the Philippines, where he could bask in the tranquility of sunlit skies.

Mike was a great father and husband. He did his best to protect and provide for his family. He was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a cherished friend. Although he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Grace Lyn Harvey, and their two daughters, Joanne and Relyn. He also leaves behind his two sisters, Michelle Glenn and Angela (Eugene) Holmes, and his stepfather, Jim Glenn. He was preceded in death by his biological parents, his father, Michael C. Harvey, and his mother, Paula Glenn.

A celebration of life for Mike will be held this Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Metrocrest Funeral Home and a memorial service at 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 N Perry Road, Carrollton, TX 75006.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with the funeral costs. Your generosity in honoring Mike’s memory in this practical way is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
