

CARROLLTON – Michelle, S. D’Iorio, 55, has gone home. She passed November 27, 2021 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Plano. She was born March 7, 1966, in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of Anthony J. D’Iorio, Jr. and Eugenia (Jeanie) L. (Hiner) D’Iorio.
Michelle graduated from Lake Highlands, High School and attended Stephen F. Austin University and graduated from The University of Texas, Arlington. After graduation Michelle worked in the hospitality field and loved working and meeting people. She became a kind friend to many and would always help those in need in any way she could. Michelle loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She was also a lover of animals, taking in strays whenever possible. She is an angel. In 2010 she became the wife of David Hayes. They celebrated 12 years of marriage.
Surviving in addition to her parents and husband, David Hayes, are her daughter, Madison L. (D’Iorio) Ayers and her husband Luke Ayers of San Antonio, TX; Mother, Eugenia D’Iorio and Step Father, Frank Dameron of Coppell, TX; Father, Anthony J. D’Iorio Jr. and Step Mother, Donna D’Iorio of Carrollton, TX; sister, Kimberly Ann Dunlop and her husband, Jeff of Garland, TX and their sons, Karl Dunlop and Justin Dunlop and his wife Michelle of Katy, TX; brother, Anthony J. D’Iorio III and his wife, Teresa, and their children, Blake D’Iorio and Hannah D’Iorio of Allen, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held in her remembrance, 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Church in the Chapel, 180 Samuel Blvd, Coppell, TX. Interment will be at Rolling Oaks Cemetery and Memorial Center 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell. Those who wish to remember Michelle in a special way may make gifts to the Red Cross in her memory as she was a strong advocate of helping those in need.
