

Naomi was born in Aubrey, Texas, on August 21, 1937, to Ada Smalley Rosser and William Rosser. She graduated from Carrollton High School in Farmers Branch, Texas, in 1955. Naomi was married to Harold Ray McDowell for 55 years.
Naomi worked as a secretary and administrative assistant for Sun Oil Company for years and for Seniors Helping Seniors.
She enjoyed hobbies such as knitting and creating antique porcelain dolls. Naomi was an accomplished musician, having received formal piano and organ training for years, and later played the piano at the First United Methodist Church in Coppell, Texas. She frequently provided music for weddings and special events at the church.
Naomi is preceded in death by her parents, Ada Smalley Rosser and William Rosser; sisters Adelle McLuster, Nell Rosser, Ruth Rosser, Bess Rosser Knee, and Virginia Rosser; and brothers George Rosser, Bill Rosser, Jim Rosser, and Clarence Rosser. Joe Face, Naomi's spouse, has been her soulmate and caregiver for the last 14 years.
The memorial service for Naomi will take place on March 14, 2026, at 1.:00 pm, and committal will follow thereafter at Flower Mound Presbyterian Cemetery, 1501 Flower Mound Road, Flower Mound, TX 75028.
