

Ram is survived by his loving wife Jammu; his brother Seshadri (Sybil Raju) Raju of Jackson, Mississippi; his children Pallavi (Cesar Rubio Vidal) Jankiraman of Sydney, Australia, Pavan (Rupa Sampath) Jankiraman of Plano, Texas, Pattabi (Viona Seshadri) Seshadri of San Francisco, California, and Raghu (Jaleen Seshadri) Seshadri of Round Rock, Texas; and his grandchildren Neha, Maria, Manuel, Anna, Gabriel and Rem.
He is preceded in death by his first wife Lynn Seshadri, his mother Janaki Seshadri, his father Seshadri Raja Iyer, and his sister Lalitha Rajaraman.
Kalyanaraman Seshadri was born on June 30th 1947 in Madras (Chennai), Tamil Nadu, India to Seshadri Raja Iyer and Janaki Seshadri. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from National College in Trichy, then received a Master of Science in Physics from Marquette University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota in the United States. He met his first wife Lynn Susan Michaels while doing postgraduate studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and they were married in 1974. After graduating, Ram worked in the IT industry for over 30 years with Burroughs, Enron, Electronic Data Systems, and Hewlett-Packard. While at Electronic Data Systems he served as a managing director setting up and overseeing the company’s operations in India, presiding over its rapid growth. Ram was widowed in 2000 and remarried to Jammu Jankiraman in 2002.
His children remember his humor, wisdom, wit, and unique fashion sense.
Ram was passionate about travel, cooking, and as a devout Hindu, his religious studies. He enjoyed fine food and drink. He was a generous individual who loved and kept in close touch with his many friends and family, and enjoyed discussing ideas and sharing knowledge with others.
The funeral service, viewing, and ceremony are scheduled for Friday, August 4, 2023 from 8:30 to noon at Metrocrest Funeral Home located at 1810 Perry Road, Carrollton, TX 75006. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ram’s life.
