It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert Steven Hill on August 10, 2016 in Plano, TX. He was born on March 1,1943 in El Dorado, IL to Randall and Valetta Hill. Steven honorably served his country in the United States Army and received his Bachelors in Business. He enjoyed spending his time with his granddaughter, Heather who he loved very much, as well as fishing and watching his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Steven was a great man and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Reba; daughters Melanie Hill, Stephanie Taylor and her husband Jeremy; brother, Gene Hill and his wife Janny; granddaughter, Heather as well as special friends, Tom & Elvira Stewart and family. A Visitation will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home 1511 I-35 E Carrollton, TX on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A Committal Service will be held at D/FW National Cemetery 2000 Mt. Creek Pkwy Dallas, TX 75211 on Monday August 15, 2016 at 10:30 am.
