Ruan Samuels, 66, of Lubbock Texas, passed away on Monday October 10, 2022 in Dallas, Texas after a lengthy battle with cancer. Ruan was born on March 15, 1956 in Littlefield Texas, to parents Edward Kleiber and Frances (Lorenz) Kleiber. She’s best remembered for her kindness and sense of humor and love of family. Ruan forged lasting friendships and touched the lives of many with her loyalty and generosity. She will be greatly missed.
Ruan is survived by her son Matt, his wife Sarah, grandchildren Zach and Alex, sister Brenda Atkinson and many beloved family members. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, brother Ralph Kleiber, sister Linda Glenn, and brother Gary Kleiber.
Services will be announced at a later date and will be laid to rest at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the cancer research center of your choice.
