Stephen Ray Prince, 63, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026.
Stephen was born on September 10, 1963, in Dodge City, Kansas, to the late Leander Prince and Herbine Prince. He was raised in Enid, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Enid High School. In 1981, he began attending Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma, where he furthered his education and built lifelong memories.
Stephen found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved fishing, spending time with his family, listening to music, and watching movies. He was also a devoted Las Vegas Raiders fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite football team. Whether he was sharing stories, enjoying a favorite song, watching a Raiders game, or simply being surrounded by the people he loved, Stephen treasured every moment with those closest to him.
His friends and family will always remember him as a fun-loving father, uncle, and grandfather; a supportive and protective brother; and a loyal, dependable friend. He had a warm smile, a caring heart, and a wonderful sense of humor that brought happiness to those around him. His love for his family and his generous spirit will never be forgotten.
Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leander Prince and Herbine Prince.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Latasha Prince; his treasured grandchildren, Jaxon Bell and Isley Freeman; his brothers, Leander Prince III and Paul Prince; his sister, Sherry Prince; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and love.
Stephen’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the love he shared. Though he is no longer with us, his laughter, strength, and unwavering love for his family will remain in our hearts forever.
