Suzzanna Lynn McDonald

Born to Ross and Kathleen Perry on February 9, 1 950, in Oceana, West Virginia, Suzzanna Lynn made an immediate impact on the Perry family. When she was two years old it became necessary for the Perry family to move to Texas because of Suzzanna having asthma.

She grew up in Dallas, Texas, having many adventures along the way. Suzzanna earned her GED and later worked in various medical facilities in the Dallas area. She was a devoted wife, mother, and sister. Suzzanna gave much love to the family, unselfishly taking care of many family members and friends that were ill. Suzzanna died on July 8, 2021. She is predeceased by her mother and father, her husband Joe McDonald, her brother Gene Bradley (Sandra), her sister Sally Hawk (Floyd), and sister-in-law Teresa Perry.

To cherish her memory Suzzanna is survived by her daughter, Shelley Van Epps, brother Fred Perry (Carolyn), brother Joe Perry (Sondra), niece Renae Gaines, niece Pennie Hall (Chuck), nephew Jeff Kennedy (Karen), nephew Ryan Perry (Tiffany), nephew Matt Perry (Tara), niece Meredith Wiley (Casey), and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.

There will be a short memorial service for the family at Metrocrest Funeral Home in Carrollton on Saturday, July 17 at 11:00 AM. Her brother, Joe Perry, will officiate the service.
