Vickie Lynn Hearn

Vickie Hearn, 63, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on February 26, 2024, in Little Elm, Texas from complications of cancer. Vickie was born in Dallas, Texas on November 23, 1960, to Jackson and Lois Faires. She was married on the 31st of July 1976 to William Hearn.

Vickie dedicated herself to her career at Omega/EssilorLuxottica for a combined total of 44 years where she made countless friends who enjoyed her witty personality and great sense of humor.

Vickie’s strength and determination were always evident as she faced challenges head on. She was tenacious and overcame anything she set her mind to. Even in the face of her cancer diagnosis, she never complained or felt sorry for herself. She put up a brave fight and continued to take care of her loved ones until the very end.

She also had a deep love for animals, with a special place in her heart for dogs.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lois Faires and her brother, Bobby Faires.

She is survived by her husband, William Hearn; daughter, Heather Hearn; sister, Glenda White; and her only grandson, Ethan Schofield, whom she adored and loved to the moon and back.

Vickie’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service on March 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Rhoton Funeral Home located at 1511 S Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006.
