CASA GRANDE — Aaliyah Marie Marquez-Rodriguez, 14, died on Nov. 1, 2021, in Phoenix. Aaliyah was born to Paul G. Rodriguez and Dina S. Marquez-Rodriguez on June 20, 2007, in Chandler. She loved art, drawing, music and hanging out with cousins. She was a straight-A student and loved spending time with her dog, Xena.She is survived by her parents; a brother, Gabriel Marquez-Rodriguez; and grandparents, Margarita Pablo, Martha Rodriguez and Gabriel Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Anthony Marquez Sr.Visitation beginning at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. Rosary recited at 9 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Funeral Mass celebrated at 9:30. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
