

Alcina was a vibrant soul who brought joy to those around her. She had a love for dancing and music and enjoyed the company of her cousins and friends. Her passion for sports was evident as she actively participated in baseball, basketball, and volleyball. Alcina had an array of interests, including jewelry, nail art, and hair accessories. She shared an affinity for the colors red, purple, green, gray, and white, and cherished her favorite teams like ASU, the Chicago Bulls, and the Diamondbacks. Moreover, she had a fondness for pizza, tacos, and many favorite bands such as Eminem, Drake. Alcina had dreams of owning her own DS, iPod, iPad, and Beats.
Alcina is survived by her father, John Valisto Jr., her mother, Julie Moristo-Rivers, and stepfather, Delson Rivers Sr.; her brother, Davin Valisto; and her best friend, Chavella Valasco. She also leaves behind the Rodriquez family of Casa Grande. Alcina is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Valisto Sr., and Lucy Lopez; her maternal grandfather, Lorenzo Rodriquez Sr.; and her aunts and uncle, Mary Valisto, Alfonso, and Melissa Rodriquez.
An all-night wake will be held at Saint Francisco Xavier Church on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Palo Verde Stand starting at 6 PM. Alcina’s burial will occur on Friday, October 17, at Santa Rosa South Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
