John 15:13

13 - Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 – Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 – Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:  but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
16 – Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:  that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Angela was a true friend.  She is the friend who would give you the shirt off her back. She inspires people and her friends to do better.  She always brings out the best in everyone.  I love her and will truly miss her.

Who knew that on the morning of July 23rd, before work, it would be the last time I ever spoke with you? I remember our brief conversation—you told me you’d call me later because you were tired. Silly me, thinking, I’ll just call her next week. But next week came and went, and here I am, still in shock.

Angela, after everything you had already overcome—beating cancer, countless doctor’s appointments we drove to and from—I truly thought you’d pull through again. 🚗💨 I loved those car rides with you, no matter how sick you felt or what you were going through. You told me more than once, “G, I’m going to beat this. I trust God.” And you did. 🙌 After every treatment, we’d play your favorite song, Never Would Have Made It, as a celebration. 🎶

I’m angry. I’m sad. 😔 My emotions are everywhere, because you were that one person I could call anytime to vent, and no matter what, you’d have my back. You’d say, “I’ll beat a b**** down about my G!” That’s the kind of friend you were—💯 all the way to the end. You’d give your last to anyone in need, always putting others before yourself. ❤️ You loved unconditionally, even when people took your kindness for weakness.

I’ve been hesitant to post something like this since the night Chloe called me. My mind has been in a fog. 🌫 I’ve prayed and prayed. 🙏 I know we’re not supposed to question God, but this just doesn’t feel real—we had so many plans left to do. We always laughed about being each other’s ride-or-die. 🤞 I never thought I’d actually have to face the “die” part.

Last night, I watched that video of our little “friends reunion” with old Northfork colleagues. 📹 Not many showed up, but we had a blast—me, you, and Angela Parker. I always considered myself blessed to have two Angelas in my life—my work besties, my sisters Rest easy my Angel. Love G

This was the last time all three of us got together Oklahoma City 2022 we had a blast of a good time laughing drinking crying, praising the lord we did all that I truly gonna miss you my friend Angela Clark
