Born in Golsta, LA., to Emmieline and Nathan Tyler Sr. They moved to Arizona in the early 1940's. He attended elementary and junior high schools in Casa Grande and left school at an early age to work alongside his father and help provide for the family. In 1963 he met and married Mearl Dean Johnson. They had five daughter and four sons. Raised in church, Mr Tyler was a member of the House of Jacob. He loved to fish and hunt and would help anyone he could and loved children. He was a hard worker and he could fix or would try to fix just about anything. He loved helping churches and was a great help to Unity of All Nations No. 2.
