CASA BLANCA - Cynthia Amanda Apkaw, 25, of Casa Blanca died on Aug. 26, 2015, at Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear. Ms. Apkaw was born on April 25, 1990, in Phoenix. She worked in food service for the state and was a member of Upper Santan Presbyterian Church. She loved playing basketball and drawing. She was very loving and outspoken and loved spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include her mother, Patsy Johns; a brother; Meinrad Knox Jr. of Upper Santan; and a sister, Star Ruiz of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father, Santarita "Dale" Apkaw, and a brother, Ronald Apkaw.J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
