Esther M. Robles, 77, was born on March 29, 1949, and died on September 10, 2026. She will be remembered with deep respect for the steady, giving way she moved through life—quietly attentive to others, and faithful in the commitments she carried with care.
A devoted member of San Francisco Xavier Church in Palo Verde Stand, Esther was known as someone who could be counted on. She willingly stepped in for community events, helping with cooking and whatever else needed to be done, offering her time in a spirit of service and shared responsibility. Her hands were rarely still; she practiced the art of basket weaving. She found enjoyment in sewing, pursuits that reflected patience, skill, and a thoughtful eye for detail. She retired from Santa Rosa Boarding and Day School where she worked as a Teachers Aide for over 20 plus years.
Esther is survived by her sister, Mary Domingo. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Robles, her children, Doreen Robles and Rynetta Frias and her parents, Jose Cruz Domingo and Rafaela Marks, and two siblings, Annie Frias and Alexander Domingo.
Services will be on Friday, September 18, 2026, at San Francisco Xavier Church in Palo Verde Stand, Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. The Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at San Luis Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
