Fernando Cordova, age 89 of Casa Grande, Arizona, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday morning March 9, 2024. He was born on January 25, 1935 in Cotulla, Texas. Mr. Cordova owned and operated his own automotive repair shop in Casa Grande for many years. He enjoyed doing puzzles, music and of course his time with family.On July 3, 1955 he married Ramona Valenciano in Casa Grande. He is survived by his wife Ramona of Casa Grande; children; Isabel Montez of Rio Rancho, NM; Alice Hernandez, Ana Lara and Lydia Cordova all of Casa Grande; siblings, Gonzalo Cordova, Lupe Cross and Mary Hernandez all of Casa Grande and Arthur Cordova of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Fernando was preceded in death by his parents, Gonzalo and Ramona; siblings, Jessie and Theodore.Visitation Friday March 15th, 2024 10:30a.m - 11:30a.m with Funeral Service starting at 11:30a.m both at Emanuel Baptist Church, 112 N. Brown Avenue, Casa Grande. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Casa Grande.
