Fidel M. Macias Jr., 75, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born March 27, 1950, Fidel will be remembered as a loving, personable man who valued connection with others and treated people with warmth and respect.
Fidel served in the U.S. Marines, a commitment that reflected his steady character and sense of duty. In his personal time, Fidel enjoyed computer research, and he also loved to dance—interests that spoke to both his curiosity and his joy for life.
Fidel is survived by his siblings Christina Robertson, Fernando Macias, Michael Macias, and Glenda Tapia. Two granddaughters that he raised, Ashia Solorio and Araya Macias and his significant other, Rose Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Juanita Coronado.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Macias residence, 1547 E. Elegante Dr. Casa Grande, Arizona 85122, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow at San Luis Cemetery, Tohono O'odham Nation.
