Florine Ann Vincent, age 67, passed away on Wednesday December 18, 2024 in Maricopa (Ak Chin Community). She was born on August 19, 1957 in Sacaton, Arizona to Matthew Mark Smith and Rema (Manuel) Smith.
Florine was employed with the Ak-Chin Indian Community in various departments consisting of the Ak-Chin Police Department, Tribal Gaming, Tribal Courts and Community Government. She was also employed with the Gila River Tribal Courts.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Vincent of Maricopa; daughter Lisa Vincent; son, Danny Vincent; two grandchildren, Carton Carlyle Jr., and Sharon Carlyle. Two sisters, Ruby Smith and Victoria A. Smith.
Florine was an avid fan of the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State Sun Devils and Phoenix Suns. Florine will be remembered for her sense of humor, kindness and the love for her family and friends. She spent her last weeks visiting with friends and co-workers sharing memories and laughter.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mathew Mark Smith Sr., mother, Rema (Manuel) Smith, brother, Mathew Smith Jr., sisters, Charlotte (Smith) Enos and Sandra (Smith) Perez.
Visitation Friday January 3rd starting at 5:00p.m at the family residence in Maricopa. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:00a.m at St. Francis of Assist Catholic Church on the Ak-Chin Community in Maricopa. Interment to follow in the Ak-Chin Community Cemetery in Maricopa.
