MARICOPA — Geno Ray Madonia, 56, of Maricopa died on June 23, 2013, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.A memorial service is planned in Illinois.Mr. Madonia was born on Oct. 15, 1956, in Chicago. He was a general contractor and loved all Chicago sports teams, especially the Bears. He was a joker and very funny but had a heart of gold and always made people smile. He liked to read, go camping and be surrounded by family and friends. Survivors include his soulmate of 27 years, Betty Voyles,; two daughters, Lisa Hogg and Gena Pontious; seven grandchildren Daniel, Sadie, Corey, Samuel, Robert, Benjamin and Skylar;His father, Cal; four brothers, four sisters.
