FLORENCE — Gerald Leroy Bernard, 68, of Florence died peacefully on Jan. 24, 2013, in Mesa, with his wife by his side.Mr. Bernard was born on Jan. 2, 1945, in Coatesville, Pa. He served in the military and worked as a handyman. He was hardworking and enjoyed fixing things and working outside. He was a wonderful caregiver to his wife.He is survived by his wife, Susan.A private service was held Saturday.J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
