Ignacio Olivarez Gomez, 65, of Maricopa died June 18, 2009 at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. Visitation began at 9 a.m. Monday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel in Casa Grande. The funeral and rosary followed at 10.Mr. Gomez was born in Alamo, Texas, and was a son of Olivia Olivarez Gomez and Ignacio Gomez Sr. He was a respiratory therapist. He loved his family and helping others.Survivors include his wife, Rilla M.; a son, Erik Gomez of Maricopa; and 15 sisters and brothers.
