SACATON - Jerome James, 34, of Sacaton died on Sept. 21, 2018.Mr. James was born on July 15, 1984, in Phoenix to Alvin James and Odelia Jose. He loved spending time with his family, especially his kids.He was a hardworking man and enjoyed eating while he watched movies. Very outgoing, he loved listening to his music and was a big Arizona Cardinals fan, never missing a game. He was well liked.Survivors include his significant other of 16 years, Monica Morris; his parents; his stepmother, Leah Whitman; four children, Seleste, Serenity, Cory and Courtney James; a godson, Shawn Jose; and two siblings, Ashley Johns and Brent James. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gwendolyn James.Wake beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, at the District 4 Service Center in Santan. Funeral Mass celebrated at 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Mission in Sacaton. Burial in Sacaton Flats Catholic Cemetery.J.
