FLORENCE — John Gregory Doherty, 47, of Florence died on Aug. 1, 2011, at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.The celebration of life will begin at noon Saturday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel.Mr. Doherty was born on Jan. 15, 1964, in Inglewood, Calif. He was a shipping clerk for a manufacturing company. He loved spending time with his children and enjoyed going to the Christian Church in Sacaton and playing guitar.Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Wheeler-Skleminoff and Crystal Doherty; his parents, Alice and Clinton A. Doherty Jr.; a brother, Charles Doherty; a sister, Gina Goodman; and three grandchildren.
