Mr. Chavez was born on Aug. 18, 1971, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. He enjoyed helping others, building, playing with his grandkids, taking his family out, dancing and listening to music. He lived in Stanfield for 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Ana Maria Chavez; three adult children, Jose Juan, Wilbert and Briana Chavez; and three grandchildren.
Visitation beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 31, at the family home. Rosary and scripture service there at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 1.
