Born in Pima, AZ; the son of Oscar R and Emma L Knight. He grew up in Florence and Coolidge and served in the US Army. He was a union carpenter in Las Vegas for 18 years and a miner in Superior and the Casa Grande area for 18 years. He had a double lung transplant in Los Angeles in 2003, he loved horses and riding in the desert. He was vary social and loved to dance and spend time with his grandchildren.
