SACATON - Malinda Faye Cannon, 63, died on Aug. 19, 2017, in Sacaton.Ms. Cannon was born on Dec. 27, 1953, in Sacaton to Roman Cannon and Melissa Stewart. She was known as a loving, caring and understanding person who always helped others when they were in need, often taking people into her home if they needed a place to stay. She loved to bake and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.Survivors include a brother, Roderick Cannon Sr., and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Arlene Kisto, Phyllis Brown, Lucita Cannon and Verna Murrieta. Wake from 6 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the District 5 Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. Graveside service at 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 27, in Vah-Ki Cemetery.J.
