Marilyn Jean Sledge, 70, of Coolidge, died December 27, 2021, at home. She was born on September 11, 1951, in Davenport, Iowa to Jack Clevenger and Mary Rollins. She loved shopping with her daughter and granddaughter. She always collected handbags and cookware. She enjoyed country music, dancing, crosswords and playing games on her phone and scratching lottery tickets. She was a bargain hunter, who always loved a great deal. She would always give her youngest a hard time. She enjoyed going out with her companion, Demetrio of 38 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her lifetime companion, Demetrio Perea, her children, Tammy, Jack “JD” and Dusty Sledge, two sisters, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
