Rayneatta will be remembered as a generous woman whose care for others was steady and sincere—someone who was always willing to help, and who would give even the last of what she had if it meant easing another person’s burden. In a life marked by simplicity, she found meaning in the everyday: coloring, listening to music, cooking, and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Rayneatta is survived by her children Shannen, Jason, Stacey Smith and Michelle Soke; and her siblings Edward, Doris, Melanie, Benny Garcia and Victoria Antone. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and a granddaughter who is due next month.
She was preceded in death by three siblings and three grandchildren, Marcos and Isabella Ramirez and Judam Smith.
Rayneatta’s presence will be deeply missed, and her quiet generosity will be long remembered by those who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ak Chin Indian Community Center, 48007 W. Farrell Road, Maricopa, Arizona 85139
