Rex Amado

Rex Amado of Casa Grande, AZ began his journey intoeverlasting life with our Lord on the 4th of March, 2022.Please join us at J. Warren Funeral Home as we celebrate hislife on Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m.Rex was born on July 10th 1952, to Gildardo and FranciscaAmado in Casa Grande, AZ.Rex married his high school sweetheart , Bonnie Joy Cartwright, with whom he shareda lifetime of love and happiness. Rex and Bonnie are the proud parents of three sons,Aaron Paul (Heather), Michael Raymond and Nicholas James Amado (Cathy) ofCasa Grande, AZ. They also have seven beloved grandchildren, Dario, Maricela, Melina,Sylar, Corbin, Baylee and Derek.Rex was a tried and true family man, who took great pride in the devoted love heshared with his beautiful wife, Bonnie. He also enjoyed spending quality time teachinghis children and grandchildren deep-rooted and devoted family values they will warmlycherish throughout their lives. He loved spending time with both his side of the familyand also with all of his in-laws, as he loved them all equally.Rex had an irresistible sense of humor; he loved to laugh, tell jokes, and above all, sharegood times with family and friends. He had a passion for listening to Mexican music withhis father and telling stories about how he was his hero as well as telling stories about hisdad to his children to keep the legacy alive. With his zest for life and adventurous spirit,Rex often could be found spending his time outdoors fishing, hunting, camping, playing with his grandchildren and restoring jalopies with his families. Rex had numerousnephews and nieces that he loved with all his heart. He fulfilled his dream of owning hisown Electrical and Refrigeration business after retiring from Salt River Project which heworked his way up from the bottom to the Lead Graphic Designer/Structural Engineer. Hehas passed his knowledge and business down to his sons. Rex also served along with hisbrothers in the U.S. Army and National Guard for just over five years.Many fond memories will be treasured by all who knew Rex. In addition to his wife,sons and grandchildren, survivors include Rex’s siblings, Ralph (Pat), Mercy, Roy (Armida),Robert (Julie), Richard (Gloria) and Rosalie of Casa Grande, Arizona. Rex is preceded indeath by his mother, Francisca (Frances); father, Gildardo; brother, Rueben; and hisdaughter, Sarah Melana
