Robert had a passion for racing dirt bikes and working on cars and guns. For two decades, he cherished running his store "REB Supply" and engaging in conversations about guns with all who visited.
Above all, he held a deep love for his family which included his son-in-law Steve Diaz, and Steven Diaz and his wife Kari. Jason Diaz, his wife Sheri of Santee CA, Amber Acosta and her husband Leo of San Diego CA. Robert Mackey and his wife Shelby of Waynesboro, PA. and Elisabeth Mackey of Ajo, AZ and all his great grandchildren. He served in the Air Force stationed in Alaska until October 1961.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Ramona Diaz of Santee CA., Roxene Edgington of Ajo, AZ, and Roberta Edgington of Bagdad, AZ. He is also survived by his sister Dottie Mcfarlin of Colorado Springs, CO; Ruby Edgington - his ex-wife turned lifelong friend; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
