ELOY — Sunny M. Collins, 65, of Eloy died on Nov. 4, 2011, at home.The celebration of life will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Casa Grande.Mrs. Collins was born on July 3, 1946, in Los Angeles. She was a government administrative assistant. An avid card player, she loved to bowl and play golf and also loved to read, consuming multiple books in a week's time. She also loved the outdoors and spent hours every day out in the sun, which was her namesake.Survivors include her husband, David; a son, Joseph of Woodland Hills, Calif.; a sister, Hope Howard of Monterey Park, Calif.; and a brother, Smiley Maruyama of Costa Mesa, Calif. She was preceded in death by her mother, Aiko Yamashita.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation of Arizona.J.
