ELOY - Teresa M. Salinas, 68, of Eloy died on Feb. 8, 2016, at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center.Mrs. Salinas was born on Sept. 12, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas, and was a daughter of Liborio and Rafaela Mendez. She was a homemaker and loved having her nails done, shopping and spending time with her family. She also loved her quiet time with her parrot, Precious.Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Leonardo; three sons, Angel and Leonardo Salinas Jr. and Manuel Gonzalez, all of Eloy; two daughters, Idalia "Yaya" Tepuri and Ruby A. Arredondo of Arizona City; three brothers, Jesus and Liborio Mendez of Utah and Ramon Mendez of New Mexico; nine sisters, Elida Mendez of Texas, Maria Barrera of California, Lupe Flores, Sara Mendez, Minga Padilla and Juana Gastelo, all of Eloy, Candida Ruiz of New Mexico, Sylvia Coronado of Eloy and Rosa Mendez of Utah; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alejandro Mendez.Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
