CASA GRANDE - Vanessa Elena Canuas, 18, of Casa Grande died on Sept. 7, 2018.Ms. Canuas was born on Jan. 30, 2000, in Chandler to Victor and Anna A. Canuas. She was a member of cheer squad, FFA, choir and band. She played the flute, piano, keyboard, guitar, bells and drums. She was full of life and loved to help others. Always having a smile on her face, she had a love for dance and music.Survivors include her parents; her stepmother, Daniella Canuas; her biological mother, Casey Hamon; grandmother, Anna B. Canuas; and five siblings, Stephanie Palacios, Amorette Velazquez, Alfonso Palacios, Feliciano Velazquez and Francisco Velazquez.J.
