Joan was born on January 22nd, 1936 to Irving and Elizabeth Acree in Baltimore Maryland. Her passing occurred on July 4th, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana, near her closest living relatives. She is survived by her nephew, Patrick Acree, his wife Katherine and their five children and three grandchildren. She is also survived by Catherine Acree, her sister in law who was married to her brother Edward.
Joan grew up in Baltimore, graduated from Southern High School and worked for the City of Baltimore School System her entire working career.
Funeral proceedings will be conducted graveside at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Glen Burnie, MD on Friday, September 11th, 2026 @ 1PM.
