He is reunited in eternal life with his beloved wife, Grace Jane Sims, and his sister, Melva Metzinger.
He is survived by his son, John H. Sims (Joyce), and daughter Kimberley Turek (Dale),his sisters, Betty Mattes, Mary Ann Chovan, and Linda Moses (Richard). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dale A. Turek (Kim), Brian Sims (Patty), Stephanie Sims, Kyle Turek (Jennifer); and by his great-grandchildren, Kenzie Turek, Brody Ranson, Hayley Sims, Logan Ranson, Scarlett Sims, Gabrielle Turek, and Lexie Turek.
