Throughout her life, Marti devoted herself to her home and family, a steadfast presence whose care and attention shaped the lives around her. A homemaker who truly adored time with those she loved, she found joy in the steady rhythms of everyday life and the companionship that comes from sharing it.
For more than 50 years, Marti also enjoyed the fellowship and routine of her bingo club and her Coffee Breakers Bowling League—simple, faithful pursuits that reflected her appreciation for community, connection, and time well spent.
Marti was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Spiegel, and her siblings, Marie Beckett, Henry Baumgart, and Emil Baumgart.
She is survived by her children, Paul Spiegel (Judy), Richard Spiegel (Michelle), and Bonnie Hare (Ray); her grandchildren, Jennifer Condron (Shaun), Greg Spiegel, Kimberly Spiegel, Emily Spiegel (George), Timothy Spiegel (Brittany) Christen Anderson (Joey), Diana Jones (Connor), and Michael Hare (Sarah); her great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Condron, Jude Spiegel, Addie Spiegel, Sam Paul Spiegel, Russell Anderson, Wade Anderson, and Liesl Anderson.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30 from 12PM pm at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Sharing of Memories 1pm at the funeral home. Interment at Lorraine Park Cemetery immediately following.
